My research explores the ramifications of intertextuality, of how texts and ideas respond to one another and feed off of one another. Textual and discursive negotiations not only fascinate me, but also define what I do. I also consider this intertextuality as a crosspollination of discourses in a transatlantic space. Many discussions and grassroots educational projects within and outside of the Caribbean have nourished my reflection. My discourse intertwines many voices and cultural perspectives that have challenged me to express what I want to say and how I need to say it.
